영국, 옥스퍼드 대학교(University of Oxford)의 철학으로 유명한 키블 칼리지(Keble College)에서 철학 소사이어티(Philosophy Society)가 주관하여,
한국의 자연과학연구학회 회장 이삼한을 초청하여 강연을 들었다.

과학과 철학

21세기는 어떻게 달라질 것인가?

과학은 있는 일을 밝혀내고 문명을 일으키고, 그 문명의 주인이 되는 것입니다.

그러나 아직 인간의 세계는 자신들의 세상이 어떻게 존재해 왔으며 어떻게 존재해 갈 것인가 하는 문제에 대해서는 별로 아는 것이 없습니다.

많은 인간들 속에는 어떤 일이건 잘못된 일들이 일어나게 되면 신이 보살펴 줄 것이라고 믿고 있는 사람들이 있습니다.
그러나 이런 생각은 잘못된 것인지도 모릅니다.

확실한 것은, 오랜 시간을 관찰하다 보면 세상은 거대한 하나의 생명체라는 것을 알게 됩니다.

그렇지 않다면 세상은 지금까지 오랜 세월을 존재해 올 수도 없었고, 또 지금과 같은 미래를 존재하게 하는 것도 불가능하기 때문입니다.

그렇다면 그 비밀은 무엇일까요?

나는 이런 일을 알고 나서 매우 큰 고민을 하게 되었습니다.

대부분의 사람들은 이런 일에 대해서 관심을 가지고 있지 않았으며, 또한 누구도 이런 일에 대해서 확인을 하고자 하는 사람이 없었기 때문입니다.

나는 현상계를 존재하게 하던 일들을 밝히려 하다가 오히려 주변에 있던 많은 사람들을 잃게 되었습니다.

나는 그때서야 비로소 모든 사람들이 각각 다른 자기를 가지고 있다는 사실을 알게 되었습니다.

사람들은 자신이 배우지 않았거나 확인하지 않은 일들에 대해서는 어떤 일도 쉽게 알아보지 못했던 것입니다.

그런데도 나는 이런 일들을 밝히기 위해 끊임없이 노력했습니다.
이유는 간단한 것이었습니다.
여러분과 인류의 일들을 염려했기 때문입니다.

그래서 나는 세상을 끊임없이 돌아 다녔습니다.
나는 사실 어떤 외국어도 하지 못합니다.
나에게는 ‘누군가가 이런 일을 해야 한다’고 고집스럽게 밀어주는 후원자가 있는 것도 아닙니다.

오직 혼자서 이 일을 하고 있습니다.

경비를 마련하는 것도 여행을 하는 것도 내 자신의 힘에 의존해야 했습니다. 나에게는 쉬운 일이란 하나도 없습니다. 만일 이런 일을 두고 나와 여러분의 입장이 바뀌었더라도 여러분 또한 지금의 나처럼 했을 것입니다.

이런 일은 양심과 사랑이 없이는 누구도 할 수가 없습니다.

그러면 내가 어떻게 인간의 세계가 볼 수 없었던 일들을 알아보고 이런 일을 하게 되었는지에 대해서 말하겠습니다.

나는 1984년 11월 어느 날, 의식 속에 있던 일들을 통해서 근원의 세계에 이를 수가 있었습니다. 그리고 나는 세상에서 최고의 깨달음을 얻게 된 것입니다.

깨달음이란 세상일에 대해서 눈을 뜬 것이라고 말할 수 있습니다.

나는 그 때부터 있는 일을 생각 없이 볼 수 있게 된 것입니다.
그리고 나는 새로운 세계를 보았습니다.

세상은 하나의 원칙에 의해서 존재해왔고,
이 원칙은 특별한 일이 없으면 항상 자신속에서 자신을 존재하게 하는 일을 하게 됩니다. 이것이 세상의 일을 있게 한 비밀이었습니다.

그러면, 한 번 있던 일들을 두고 세상의 일을 비교해서 관찰해 보도록 하겠습니다.

어떤 생명체도 자신의 근본 바탕에 있던 일들에 의해서 활동하게 되고, 그 활동을 통해서 다시 자신의 근본을 만들게 됩니다. 이렇게 해서 한 번 자신의 근본을 만들고 존재하게 되는 것은 계속해서 자신을 존재하게 하고 있습니다.

마찬가지로 세상도 하나의 생명체처럼 활동하고 있습니다. 이런 활동이 세상을 영원히 존재하게 하고 있는 것입니다. 만일 이런 일이 없었다면 세상에는 어떤 생명체도 지금처럼 존재하지 않았을 것입니다.

세상은 우리가 바라는 어떤 해답도 문제 속에 모두 존재하게 해두고 있습니다. 수학에서 문제가 바뀌면 답도 바뀌게 되어 있는 것처럼, 자신이 바꿀 수 없다고 생각하는 답도 자신 속에 있던 문제를 바꾸면 얻을 수가 있게 되어 있습니다.

여러분이 조금만 세상의 일에 대해서 눈을 뜬다면, 자신은 자신에 의해서, 영원한 생명과 세상을 있게 하는 일들에 대해 금방 이해할 수 있게 될 것입니다.

여러분이 원하건 원하지 않건, 세상은 있는 일을 통해서 끝없는 세상으로 이어지게 되어 있습니다.

한 인류가 없어진다고 해서 그것이 세상에 종말을 가지고 오는 것은 아닙니다.
새로운 세상이 그 일로 인하여 나타나게 되는 것입니다.
이런 일은 누구도 막을 수가 없습니다. 또 그 일을 막아서도 안 됩니다.

우리는 이 때 있게 되는 일들을 통해서 지금까지 세상이 어떻게 존재해 왔었느냐 를 알 수가 있을 것입니다.

중요한 일은 이런 일이 있게 될 때에는 누구나 대비를 해야 할 것입니다.

변화기는 틀림없이 우리의 시대에서 나타나게 되어 있습니다.
그러면 현재의 인류는 사라지게 됩니다. 그리고 그 소용돌이 속에서 새로운 인류가 다시 태어나게 될 것입니다.

이런 일은 이미 과거로부터 예견되고 있던 일입니다.

문제는 우리들의 선택입니다. 자신을 버릴 것인가? 자신을 존재하게 할 것인가? 하는 일은 누구도 쉽게 해결할 수 없을 것입니다.

내가 세상을 떠돌아다니고 있는 것도 알고 보면 이 일을 하기 위해서입니다.

나는 여러분의 선택을 방해하고 싶지 않습니다.
다만, 내가 말하고 있는 것은 나의 말이 진실인지 거짓인지, 그것을 좀 확인해 달라는 것입니다.

여러분이 이 일을 확인하고 나면, 결코 우리는 지금처럼 멀게만 느껴지지는 않을 것입니다. 그러면 여러분의 삶은 영원한 생명의 길을 있게 할 것입니다.

이제 본론으로 들어가서 내가 어떻게 있는 일을 보고 세상의 일을 알아볼 수 있는지에 대해서 말하겠습니다.

먼저 여러분이 문제를 제시해주시면, 어떻게 문제 속의 답을 얻을 수 있는지에 대해서 말하겠습니다. 여러분이 얻고자 하는 답이 있다면, 나는 여러분이 질문을 통해서 답을 얻을 수 있도록 그 질문에 대해 설명할 것입니다.

나는 이 자리를 통하여 여러분과 만나게 된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다.

Science and Philosophy

How will the world change in the 21st Century?

Science reveals 'what is', develops civilization and becomes the owner of the civilization.

The human world, however, does not know very much about the matter of how their own world has existed and how it will continue to exist.

A large number of people believe that God will take care of them if something bad happens to them.
But this kind of attitude might be wrong.

We can realize the fact that the world is a huge creature of life if we observe it for a long time.

If the fact is not true, the world gas not been able to exist for a long time up to now. It is also impossible to exist in the future.

Then, what is the secret?

I have been in great agony since I found it out.

Most people have not been interested in this kind of matter. Nobody has tried to verify it either.

I have tried to reveal what has made things of the world exist. But I was shunned by the majority of people around me after all.

Finally I could understand the fact that all the people have different selves respectively.

As for people, they still could not recognize anything easily that they have never learned or verified.

Despite such reality, I have made endless efforts to deal with it.
The reason was simple.
It was for things of yours and human beings'.

I have continued to travel all around the world continuously. Actually, I cannot speak and foreign languages. I do no have any sponsors to believe that someone in the world ought to do this work and to support my activities persistently.

I am doing this all alone.

When I prepared travelling expenses and travelled actually I had to depend on myself. I did not have anything to do easily. If you took my place you would do the same things as I did.

Without conscience and love, nobody can do this work.

Then, let me tell you how I could succeed in seeing what the human world could not see and how I started to do this work.

One day in November 1984, I could reach the world of origin through what had existed in the consciousness. Owing to the event I could attain the supreme enlightenment.

Enlightenment means opening eyes to things of the world.

From that time, I have been able to see things without thought. Finally I could find a new world.

The world has existed by a principle.
As long as thee are not any specific reasons, the principle always makes oneself exist among things in him. This is the secret that makes things of the world exist.

Then, let's compare things of the world with something which has existed.

The activities of all the creatures of life depend on things in their essence and foundation. And through the very activities they make their essence again. This is the very way to make their essence. This is the very principle that all creatures can survive permanently.

From this point of view, the world acts as a creature of life. The world can survive endlessly in the same way. If it is not true, nothing in the world exists like today.

In the world all the answers which we want to get lie in questions. Just as the answers change according to the change of questions in mathematics, we can change the answers which we thought it impossible to change by changing questions in ourselves.

If you open your eyes a little bit to things of the world you can understand the facts that you produce an eternal life and the world for yourself.

Regardless of whether you want or mot, the world is connected to the endless world through 'what is '.

The fact that the present mankind disappears does not mean the Conclusion of the world. A new world appears through the disappearance of the former world. Nobody can prevent this phenomenon. And it must not be prevented either.

We can understand how the world has existed so far through what happens during the period.

The important thing is that when the period is coming up we must provide for it.

It is certain that a change period will happen in this era.
It means that the present mankind disappears. Through the maelstrom, new mankind will be born.

The period has been expected to happen from the past.

The issue is our choice. The questions that if you abandon yourself or if you lead your life cannot be solved easily.

The reason why I travel around the world is to give the answer.

I do not want to disturb your choice.
What I want to do is your confirmation of the fact that what I say is true or false.

Only if you confirm it, we will mot feel far from each other as much as we feel now. If so, your life can get the way of eternal life.

Now, let's take up the main subject. I will explain more in detail how I see what is and how I can recognize things of the world.

If you give some questions I can show you I can get the answers from the questions. And if you have an answer which you want to get, I will explain what question you can get the answer from.
